Walnut Snickerdoodle Dip
A healthy sweet snack that can be served with fresh fruit, graham crackers or vanilla wafers. This would also be a great dip to serve at a brunch. Makes approximately 1 ½ cups total.

- 1 cup California Walnut pieces
- ½ cup low-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 ½ Tbs light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
In a food processor, chop the walnuts until they are finely ground, almost resembling coarse sand.
Place ground walnuts in a medium bowl. Add low-fat plain Greek yogurt, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until completely blended.
Place in a serving bowl. Can be eaten immediately or covered and stored in the refrigerator.
Serve with fruit (such as sliced apples, strawberries, blueberries, or pears), unsweetened dried apple slices, graham crackers or vanilla wafers.
